Brown is usually better but like every rule there is always an exception…eggs. Brown eggs are marketed as being healthier but that’s all it is…a marketing ploy. Nutritionally speaking, brown and white eggs are the same. Yup, same.
1 large egg gives ya about 70 calories, 6 grams protein, 5 grams fat and 1.6 grams saturated fat.
The colour of egg a chicken lays is a result of the breed of chicken. That’s it. So choose whatever colour appeals to your eye, and your pocket book. I wish there were pink eggs. Just sayin’.
